A significant achievement for Our Don Antonio Riserva 2022

We are proud to share some wonderful news with all of you: our Don Antonio Riserva Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC 2022 has been awarded a Bronze medal with a score of 87 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026.

This competition, organized by the eponymous and authoritative British magazine Decanter, is recognized internationally as one of the largest and most influential wine competitions in the world. Each year, hundreds of experts, including many Masters of Wine, blind-taste thousands of wines from every corner of the globe, making this recognition a prestigious milestone for our winery.

“Don Antonio” represents the soul of our production: it is a sumptuous, velvety, and persistent Nero d’Avola. Its intense ruby color anticipates a complex olfactory range, where notes of ripe cherry intertwine with hints of sweet spices, licorice, and a touch of cocoa, offering a sip of great elegance.

This wine is the result of skilled work in the vineyards, where the vines—located at an altitude between 450 and 550 meters above sea level on calcareous and clayey soils—are tended with dedication by our family to best enhance the unique potential of Nero d’Avola.
